MicroRNA in HCC: Biomarkers and Therapeutic Targets
نویسندگان
چکیده
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a malignant tumor with high morbidity and mortality. At present, diagnostic methods such as imaging observation, serum testing tissue biopsy, well treatment surgical resection, radiotherapy, chemotherapy have certain limitations in clinical interventions for HCC due to the complex pathogenesis drug resistance of liver cancer, which seriously affect survival prognosis patients. As large-scale cytokine, microRNA (miRNA) plays an important role regulating various life activities cells. Extensive evidence proved that miRNAs are specifically expressed tissues blood patients, some them been confirmed factors can participate regulation key signaling pathways cancer For this reason, these great potential diagnosis HCC, improve conventional treatment. Our paper reviews research on miRNA biomarkers targets recent years, aims provide new ideas HCC.

MicroRNA in pancreatic adenocarcinoma: predictive/prognostic biomarkers or therapeutic targets?
Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is a tumor with a poor prognosis, short overall survival and few chemotherapeutic choices. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are non-coding, single-stranded RNAs of around 22 nucleotides involved in the pathogenic mechanisms of carcinogenesis and metastasis. They have been studied in many tumors in order to identify potential diagnostic, prognostic or therapeutic target...

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are short, noncoding RNA molecules capable of regulating gene expression at transcription and translation levels (1 ). Conserved throughout evolution, miRNAs participate in fundamental biologic processes including cell cycle, differentiation, development, metabolism, patterning, and aging. The human genome contains approximately 1000 miRNAs that are estimated to regulate a th...

grounds, implying the presence of senile plaques and neurofibrillary tangles in the hippocampus and cerebral cortex. Brain autopsy studies indicate that these lesions are present in about 90% of patients clinically diagnosed by experienced physicians. The utility of biomarkers for enhancing diagnositic sensitivity for AD may consequently be relatively limited since clinical methods are generall...

Colorectal Cancer (CRC) is one of the most common malignant tumors of gastrointestinal tract. The occurrence, development, diagnosis and prognosis have become a hot topic in current clinical research. However, current diagnosis and treatment still depend on the results of tumor imaging or pathology test. Therefore, to reveal the biological pathogenesis of CRC and to discover specific biomarkers...
متن کاملMiRNAs as biomarkers and therapeutic targets in cancer.
The knowledge that miRNA expression is frequently dysregulated in cancer has uncovered an entirely new repertoire of molecular factors upstream of gene expression, with exciting potential as novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets in cancer. Exploiting the unique characteristics of these molecules including their stability, tissue specificity, ease of detection and manipulation, will bring cli...
